El Dorado Gallery
El Dorado Gallery is a fine arts gallery located at the foot of Pikes Peak in the historic
“Old Colorado City” shopping district just west of Colorado Springs.
We’ve been here almost 25 years, although the first 22 years were at a previous location a block and a half east of where we are now. Many of our loyal customers may remember us being across the intersection, diagonally, from the local chocolate factory. Well, the building we were in all those years was sold and we had to move—on to bigger and better things!

Come on in and visit us in our new location. We still have two chairs at the checkout counter for you to sit down and relax in. And, while you're resting your feet, you can always feel free to chat with the artist working that day.

About our Pottery
We sell only Tony Heslop's pottery. Since he makes all his pieces himself, he only accepts custom orders for sets of dishes and/or sinks. Orders can be placed at any time. He makes sinks throughout the year, but makes sets of dishes only in January and February of each year. We have all pottery inventory out on the retail floor (none in "the back"), as his pottery is all handmade and takes time. He delivers more pottery to us usually once a week. Unless he is bringing in completed custom orders, we do not know what pieces he will bring each time. That's why it's important that we ask you to call us (or email us) with questions about availability or if you can order something made. Over half of our walk-in customers at the gallery are pottery customers and, as a result, something we have listed on our website may be sold at any time "in person." We appreciate your understanding that we wouldn't want our website customers to make an online purchase of something we no longer had. If you call or email us, we'll be glad to hold something for you, and can email more pictures to you to help you decide whether to purchase. Thank you.

You may call us to make your payment with a credit card, or to arrange to send us a personal check, money order, or to put something on lay-away. Yes, we do accept lay-aways, a rare thing these days!
